We are seeking a maintenance specialist that is passionate about ensuring clean and reliable water in our community.
Successful applicants must minimally possess a valid water distribution DSII license from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and have the skills and knowledge required to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our water distribution systems.
Responsibilities will include regular inspections of water distribution facilities and identification of maintenance needs; perform repairs and maintenance tasks on water mains, valves, hydrants, and other components; complete monthly meter reading; diagnose and troubleshoot issues; maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report results to supervisors; follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Note:
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function in the performance of this job.
Applicants must have a valid drivers license and be eligible and capable of obtaining a Class B commercial driver's license within six months of employment.
Selected applicants must pass background investigation and substance abuse screening and be physically capable of performing required duties.
